Bestan Star: Born and raised in Finland with Kurdish roots, I made the bold move to Dubai at just 19, chasing my dream of architecture and innovation. After earning my degree in Architectural Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, my curiosity for sustainable solutions led me to complete a master’s in Renewable Energy Engineering. I then spent three thrilling years at Buro Happold, where I not only sharpened my technical and project management skills but also worked on cutting-edge projects that shaped my engineering career.

But my creative spark was too strong to ignore. Marketing called, and I answered! Today, I’m leading the charge at Richkey Properties, driving marketing and operations with a fresh perspective. Combining my technical background with bold, creative strategies, I’m elevating real estate marketing to new heights in one of the world’s most fast-paced markets.
